Calenco V2 changes its architecture radically, making it accessible to both people and other computer systems alike by means of a REST API with an AJAX-based UI layer on top of it.
And changes don't stop there: V2 will also support versionning (you can "go back in time" to any revision of your files), publications (you can define where the compiled documents are stored, either inside Calenco, or on your WebDAV-enabled WWW server), translations (translator's work will be easier with the provided facilities),
addons (you can extend Calenco providing support for your XML schemata), and a few other features.
